We purchased some from a local store (Nutrition Smart) for $1.19 per lb.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll try to simplify the procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Health Benefits of Wheatgrass Juice:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/cuttler.hubpages.com\/hub\/WHEAT-GRASS-Health-Benefits-of-Wheat-Grass\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/cuttler.hubpages.com\/hub\/WHEAT-GRASS-Health-Benefits-of-Wheat-Grass<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here are my notes:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jnlyman.com\/blog\/2013\/06\/23\/grow-wheatgrass\/\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/4 cup hard red wheat berries<\/li>\n<li>Soak wheat berries over night<\/li>\n<li>Sprout wheat berries one day<\/li>\n<li>Place potting soil in 2 inch trays and spread the berries on top of the soil.<\/li>\n<li>Water the tray and cover for 2 days.<\/li>\n<li>Uncover the tray on day 3 and move the trays to indirect light.<\/li>\n<li>Water every morning for 2 days (need to check the moisture of the soil like any other plant).<\/li>\n<li>Cut the wheatgrass when it reaches approximately 7&#8243; in height, grind into juice, filter with a coffee filter, and then freeze for future use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Growing wheatgrass is another adventure: simple enough and results are incredible.
