Great article. I’ve enejoyd this contribution. Its nice to see every questions answered in a blog post like this. I will add this post on my blog and link to it. Thanks for a clear informative post, I’ve learned a lot. I hope to see videos though as I can be A.D.D and reading articles is not my favorite thing to do online. So what I do sometimes is just print the whole thing and read offline.

The Pickle Barrels were picked up at a farm store in Gainesville, Florida for around $15.00 each. We then transported three home in the back of the pickup. If you noticed the slab construction, the reason for the length is to support 10 such pickle barrels collecting water from the roof gutter system. The system in Gainesville is designed for use as a drip irrigation system. Saves on City water and billing. Reference the following for the concrete slab project in Gainesville http://www.jnlyman.com/blog/2012/08/

The amount of concrete mix required is directly related to the cubic area of the slab. Realize that if the slab is thinner, then the cubic area will be less. Don't know where you read the number of bags I used but if your calculation of 41 80# bags is required for the 12' x 6' x ?" then use that calculation when purchasing. You should always be able to return the excess unopened bags to the place purchased. 41 bags will represent quite a bit of work, so you might want to pace yourself by planning on more than one day. Separate the slab into specific sizes etc. Also, the mix comes in different tinsel strengths so, know what the end purpose of the slab will be and select the proper mixture to support your needs.
